Yuuji felt as the last pieces of Sukuna's soul vanished from his mind, he knew he should have felt happy but the growing void inside of him felt like a thorn in his side, it bore into his skin and made him bleed all over the fresh wound on his heart.
His mood was somber, a sadness lingering on as the ashes of the former King of Curses flew away with a light breeze.

Yuuji walked away, not looking back to check if Fushiguro had made it, turning his back to the sorcerer world for good.

(I haven't personally read the manga and only watched season 1 so my knowledge is not absolute, I simply saw a spoiler and thought that the look Itadori had as he held Sukuna for the last time seemed sad if not sympathetic so I called upon all my jjk knowledge and made this)
