When the president of the United States is kidnapped, rookie CIA agent Finn McCoy finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Falsely pegged as an enemy operative, Finn must rely on his wit, skills, and a little bit of luck to clear his name and save his country, all the while avoiding his fellow agents (who want him incarcerated) and the mysterious TRIDENT organization (which wants him dead). From the ski slopes of Colorado to an exotic island off the coast of Japan and everywhere in between, Finn can't seem to catch a break from the action.
Author's note: Howdy! I felt the sudden desire to start writing a story, so here goes. I might update/edit chapters every once in a while, so if you look back and see a minor change, don't think you're going crazy. Some things in the story exist in real life (various landmarks and cities, for example) while others are a product of my imagination. If you like reads like Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt series and movies like James Bond or Mission: Impossible, I think you might enjoy Shadow Surge. Feel free to leave comments and feedback!

Time to find out for the better or for the worse himself. If this boy doesn't find out why he could end up in prison for years for something he doesn't ever even remember doing.
