POSTED FOR REFERENCE. Aine and her mother were thrown from the Fae Sithen when Aine was nothing more than a child, for the crime of her being the daughter of a human father. Once her beautiful mother has wilted and died, Aine roams the moors alone, unaware of the darkness encroaching on her birthplace. When a curious human stumbles upon her little home, the two are drawn into a fight for Faerie and the living world they never could have imagined. Cover art by the talented @Sylvador!

The Sídhe: creatures of the earth that hold incredible powers, and a rare sight indeed in Rienne. Maeve, a girl who can draw fire from the sun, is one of the few Sídhe left--and the only one to linger amongst humans. She is content to live a simple life as a farmer's daughter, working beside the ocean and caring for her cattle. But peace is a fickle thing, and flees easily. When strange, dark beasts long since reduced to myth--Tremluí--return to ravage the land, Maeve's quiet existence is shattered. To protect all of Rienne, she sets off with the aid of a Sídhe boy who claims to know how to stop the nightmarish creatures. It is a dangerous, long journey to the Tremluí's home; to survive, Maeve must rely upon her flame as never before. After all, even the deepest shadows will be driven away by the light. ~ Cover by the amazing @Lueur_laVespine!
