Paradigm Thrift: A Qualitative Study Exploring the Political Impact and Liberatory Potential of College Free Thrift Stores

Hello, thrifters. This is my research from college about the political potential of free thrift stores at universities across the US. I created a free thrift store while I was in college and am now starting to freelance and create more stores at other colleges (hmu if you're interested for more information). I think this information is super fascinating and there is NO literature on free thrift stores (let alone their political impact). If you know of any such literature that I might not have found yet- please send it my way. 

I'm unsure how to post this with the footnotes but all of the works cited are included at the end. If you have any questions or just want to connect with me about your excitement on this topic, I would be thrilled to chat.

What is a free thrift store?
A free thrift store is a community-driven initiative where items such as clothing, books, household goods, and school supplies are donated and made available to others at no cost. Unlike traditional thrift stores, which sell items at low prices, a free thrift store operates on the principle of mutual support and sharing, with no monetary exchange involved. This initiative is very successful at small walkable colleges.Все права защищены

America, the missing personification of the world of nations. Finding out about the personification at a gala no less....... who would of guessed America had a personification, and a woman one at that. My face bounces of the wall, the sting of his slap left behind on my cheek. I shake the pain away, placing a facade up to hide the fear within. You fucking bastard! I narrow my eyes at him, taking note of his features in case I miraculously survive this encounter. His hair is a dark auburn and his eyes that watch me with amusement are a dark blue. His attire was a black suit which seemed out of place considering he was standing in an alleyway. If I manage to escape I want to be confident that'd I'd be able to have this bastard put behind bars. Again if... His eyes shift, my eyes widening as his eyes turn from a dark blue to a pool of black, red veins trailing along from his pupil to the edge of his eyes. His voice is dark as he commands, "Show me that pretty little neck of yours." ೋღ🌹ღೋ ⚠️ Warning!!! This book is extremely dark and has depictions of Mature language, violence, sexual activity, sexual and physical abuse, including rape. Rape is a serious crime often overlooked where the victim is made to believe it is their fault. I do not condone rape however, it's a reality. Please only read if your 18+ and with caution. These little hashtags pepper our lives. These are mine and how they represent me. At least that is how I wanted this book to be. It was to be a book of short articles using a hashtag as inspiration. However, it has grown and changed as I have. This book was birthed from my not-so-short social media posts. As I began engaging with people who don't share the same opinion as me, I dug deeper into trying to understand how I decided on my beliefs. I did some armchair research on Street Epistemology. If you haven't heard of it, YouTube it. It will get you to think! I did. I came face to face with what I believed, how I got there, and why. It also forced me to ask whether my beliefs are consistent with my morals and ethics. This book is my contribution to the marketplace of ideas. Hopefully, it stands up to scrutiny. Thank you all current and future readers for taking a look at my first Wattpad publication. Now, for a secret. _Murdersphere Mosaic_ is the rough-draft sequel to _Blue Collar Immortal_. It did not start that way, but once I got going, a lot of thing fell into place, namely that despite starting with the intention to do fanfiction, I did not commit to actually "living" in the milieus of the Marvel or even DC Universe. They became set pieces, prop-culture references and points of familiarity for the protagonist. I am turning _Murdersphere Mosaic_ into a first draft and I plan to re-develop set life on IC-CG1. I'm stripping out the Marvel and DC references, but it will definitely be recognizable as a super-science, comic book influenced environment. The idea is quite exciting. Because this turned into a sequel, I want all of you to have the whole story. So, I am going to serialize _Blue Collar Immortal_ on Wattpad, one chapter a week, starting Friday, September 19, 2014. If you do not want to wait, or you want a different format, I have dropped the price of _Blue Collar Immortal_ to $0.99 in the Kindle store.
