Pop on your favorite album and give this book a read. I want this book to feel like you're getting the closest access to a band in the current stream of media. This is a story of 4 members in a band all developing their own skill and personalities on their rise to success.
The Band is similar to Tsunami Bomb Circa 2003, However there is 2 girls and 2 boys. Think of the book in a television format with a mixture of Entourage and Modern Family aspects.

To feel closer to her culture she started listening to K-pop and fell in love.She finally gains confidence and starts a K-pop group. She recruits her cousin Holland, a boy from school Dylan, and two foreign exchange students from South Korea (Woojin and Jinsoo) to join her band We Are NOT Chinese. When Lisa sees Poinsettia Records go on a signing spree she shoots her shot and submits a video into their contest. With sheer luck they get signed.
