Kai couldn't believe he met an italian bad boy named Luigi Mangione at a random McDonald's. From the impulsive decision to allow a masked man dive into his car to escape the authorities, Kai knew he couldn't turn back. He had to abandon his old life as a college freshman to embark on a new Bonnie & Clyde type relationship.

Kai promises to help Luigi stay hidden. They go on a road trip across the U.S.A where Luigi learns more about his sexuality with Kai's help and reflects on his life-changing decision.
