I found him on the curb sitting outside the building
I was curious
He was broken
Slowly, we became the closest
And slowly, he fell
I fell too, but for someone else
He had given up on being happy
Until I came along and made him see that there was still happiness
I failed to notice that I was the reason he only bothered trying
And I failed to notice that I was ............
