This will be the continuation of the first story. It's highly recommended to read the first book to understand this story better. There will be a lot of spoilers of the first book in this story.
In this story, Kai and Paris will no longer be the protagonists. Since Venus and Pearl got a lot of attention in the first book, this will be a continuation of their story instead.

Venus is the daughter of the second leader from the minor branch of the mafia family. Pearl used to be a bodyguard from the major clan that was sent to Venus' house to search for the evidence of the family's corruption, but she got caught and tormented by Venus for intruding the mansion.
In the month that Pearl was held captive by Venus, she began to get to know her better, and she found out many secrets about her and herself that were concealing deep in the darkness. They discovered each others sexual fantasies and complemented one another like a puzzle. They had a common interest, and that was that they were both kinky in a really uncommon way.
In this process of getting to know one another better, they both start to develop a strong bond that eventually leads to complicated feelings that they both soon discover to be love. After the confrontation between the Major and Minor Clan, Pearl chose to resign from her job to follow her heart and stay by Venus' side.
This story begins when Venus wakes up in the hospital after being in a comma for a whole month. She was filled with happiness when Pearl told her that she chose her, but that happiness was put on hold when she later finds out that they were suddenly adopting a baby.
