Ashereign Quinn and Severus Snape have been inseparable since childhood, growing up as neighbors in Spinner's End. Both are half-blood-a witch and a wizard-with mothers who are pure-blooded Slytherin alumni of Hogwarts and lifelong friends since their first year. While they share a similar upbringing, Ashereign comes from a slightly higher social standing. Her mother hails from the Sacred Twenty-Eight's Lestrange pure-blood lineage, while her father, a Muggle-born Ravenclaw wizard, is a highly successful businessman and one of the wealthiest individuals in the wizarding world.

Together with their other close friend, Lily Evans, they've shared countless memories in their small industrial neighborhood. Now, the trio stands in the grandeur of Hogwarts' Great Hall, lined up and awaiting their turn to don the Sorting Hat.
