After being attacked in the alleyways of Ninjago City, Aella finds herself tied up with the Ninja. Unfortunately, returning to the Monastery she once called home wasn't all smooth sailing. Learning how to trust and be cared for isn't an easy feat for the girl with the past she's had, and the Green Ninja's blatant distaste for her certainly doesn't make it any easier. But what happens when the two teens find themselves falling head over heels for one another despite their previous hatred? And what happens when Aella's attackers return, and the Ninja find themselves in a strange realm that's still oddly familiar? What bonds will be broken and mended then?
