Beneath the Hunt

Dahlia's a hunter on a mission - track down the supernatural creatures who destroyed her world and eliminate any others along the way. Aaron, her mentor and closest thing she has to a family, is the one in charge of the faction she resides in. Aaron is the unwavering force that guides her and the other hunters through the darkness. It was a tragedy that brought them together and it seems that is all Dahlia faces. With each demon, vampire, were-creature or any supernatural being that she faces, the lines between her past and present blur. It is like she is being sucked into the dark abyss she is trying to desprately to keep from surfacing and swallowing the whole world. Then there is Wesley. He is her fellow hunter and Aaron's most trusted confidant. He is her ally but they act like more like rivals. Wesley pushes against her every step of the way and their constant clashing make the battlefield the least of her worries. Despite them mixing as well as oil and water, Wesley cannot help the growing attraction he feels towards her and will do what he must to keep her further than arms length. Wesley, battling a forbidden love for Dahlia, fears his loyalty to Aaron will be tested to the breaking point.
