Gracie Hargreaves is at the top of the food chain despite only being Year 11. She comes from a wealth that you only see written about, never thinking people this rich actually exist.
She doesn't exactly have the most positive reputation either, being Willow Creek's biggest heartbreaker, nobody is actually fond of her, she's liked because people fear her, not that she cares, popularity is more important than having actual friends.
Taylor Whitlock hates the idea of private schools, but she didn't have much choice when it came to education. Her parents got better jobs and decided it would be better to send her to a boarding school, saying "colleges will favour you". She's not popular at all, but she has friends who actually like her.
Taylor doesn't like Gracie, but she can't help but be fascinated by her, she can't resist the charm everyone talks about. She doesn't want to be another girl tossed away and ridiculed about how bad she is in bed.
Still, maybe she does fancy Gracie, but it's not a crush she wants to pursue.

Eton College is the world's most prestigious boarding school. It's also just opened it's coveted doors to the female half of the population. When Grace was forced to take the entrance exams and subsequently got in, she assumed that leaving home to go to boarding school wouldn't be all that different to living with her parents who had never paid her much attention. Victore Academy boarding school is a lot of things. To the outside world, it's the heaven of schools. For some students, it's an experience they'll never forget. For others, it's the place to start their careers. And maybe for a few, it's the peak of their lives and really as good as it's going to get for them. And for me... well, I'll need a bit more than this to talk about that. But before you step in, here's a few things that everyone makes note of: 1. The students have secrets. And money. It's hard to tell what more of, honestly. 2. Don't get a room on the West Side of the girl's dorms. The birds around that private property lake house downside from campus don't stop chirping at 5AM. It's unpleasant, to say the least. 3. Avoid Mr. Labadee's classroom at all costs outside of lessons, especially past fifth period. It's better off if you're left in the dark with this one. 4. That asshole from Spain that terrorizes all the young freshmen is not hot. However, girls do make note of the fact that he works out post seventh period and right before first, near the track field. 5. The Victor's Tournament happens every year for all the senior year students. It's a pretty big deal. 6.
