Tristan (tris) Foxx served 4 years in the military before the illness spread around the world, decreasing the human population and increasing the dead population.
When the illness first spread she was overseas on employment, arriving back in the states in D.C. she was met with people running around the streets screaming as she walked back to her apartment.
The news explained how people would come back to life and suddenly turn animalistic, cannibals if you will.
The streets of Atlanta soon turned into a blood shed.
