Being a vampire was my biggest pride. Something I carried so close to myself, I never realized how dangerous that could've been, nor the traps I'd blindly walk into.

The power of immortality is something every creature fonds over. Wealth is just a fraction of it's benefits. The thought of never having to meet death is pure bliss to those who've spent their futile lives in lust, crimes and sins.

This power, can serve as a curse.

Those who have intertwined themselves in human emotions and environments often yearn for death, while death itself waves at them from across a broken bridge.

I, Markus Vincent, just to happen to be on the other side of the bridge, beckoning death. Only difference is that these feelings are learnt, not from a human.
