Strange Country

They raised Caspar Shaw to be a monster hunter. Using ruthless precision, he takes down even the fiercest of supernatural creatures, from lumbering fleshgaits to siren-eyed succubi. However, this isn't the life he longs for.

Against his family's wishes, what Caspar really wants is a normal life, with normal parents, friends, and a job.

But hunters rarely get happy endings.

So when Caspar's mother and uncle go missing, he gives into fate. He sells his soul to a demon, one of the most repugnant and fearful creatures a hunter can have the misfortune of encountering. In return, he gets a loyal friend to accompany him on his journey. Or at least, a demon pretending to be his friend.

Only time will tell if Caspar can save his family, avoid his premature demise, and understand the true nature of the entity he's contracted.
