Adrian Michaels, a film producer at Johnson Brothers Film Company, becomes tasked with the responsibility of creating a film on a slave rebellion to help his studio save face after their CEO is caught on camera drunkenly yelling racial slurs in public. He decides to create a film that portrays a historically accurate representation of the rebellion. That is, until the new CEO Jeffrey Spitz, focused on turning a profit, is hired. From here, Adrian must navigate the business of destroying art for money to save not only his movie, but the film industry from itself.
