The sky was a deep shade of indigo, with stars scattered like diamonds across the fabric of the universe. The air was heavy with the scent of blooming flowers and the distant hum of crickets.I stood at the edge of the water, the gentle lapping of the waves against the shore creating a sense of calm. The world seemed to be holding its breath, waiting for something to happen. And then, without warning, the stars began to blur, like tears welling up in my eyes. The world around me started to distort, like a reflection in rippling water.
I felt a shiver run down my spine as the darkness seemed to coalesce into something tangible. Something that watched me with cold, calculating eyes.I tried to step back, but my feet seemed rooted to the spot. The darkness drew closer, its presence suffocating.

And then, everything went black.
