"God, I am just so sorry..."

Ella wants nothing more than to get away and start her own life, but she's learned the hard way that we don't always get the things we want. Desperate to find an apartment, she has been saving up and working all the hours she can get.

At twenty years old, her parents introduced her to a new member of the family, her adopted brother. She has yet to adjust to the new company and has put herself on the fast track to finally having a life she can call her own.

In celebration of one whole year under the same roof, her family books a twelve day cruise in hopes that a stress free trip will encourage some much needed bonding.

It's too bad they didn't catch the latest news...

A deadly virus has been spreading like wildfire, and the newest victims are confined to a cruise ship on the high sea... Ella's cruise ship. The family's dream vacation soon turns into a nightmare.

As family ties are strained, Ella quickly bonds with Tyler, an employee she meets aboard what should have been the trip of her lifetime. Now she may not even make it out alive before the captain declares "mayday."
