He in invoked the ancient name of the AXOLOTL to save him from his untimely demise. The AXOLOTL had Bill stuck in the therprism. A prison so Bill can finally cope what had happened in the his past and work on his trama. As one final test Bill is sent to gravity falls to learn the error of his ways and find forgiveness, however other seems unconvinced. But when Bill's old friend visits him to help him, things don't seem so grim.
