In a Bakudeku Pacific Rim AU, Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo would be drift-compatible Jaeger pilots fighting against massive Kaiju attacks. The story takes place in a world besieged by Kaiju, towering monsters that emerge from underwater rifts. Humanity's only defense is through Jaegers, enormous mechs piloted by two people connected through a neural link, or "Drift," sharing thoughts, memories, and emotions.

Long ago, legions of monstrous creatures called Kaiju arose from the sea, bringing with them all-consuming war. To fight the Kaiju, mankind developed giant robots called Jaegers, designed to be piloted by two humans locked together in a neural bridge. However, even the Jaegers are not enough to defeat the Kaiju, and humanity is on the verge of defeat. BUT Half way through the Kaiju War, a battery of new, god-sized monsters the titans, earth guardians monsters that have long existed way before humanity became the dominant species start appearing, including the Big G the King of the monsters himself. They help in the fight against the Kaiju and turn the tide of the war. Confused by this, the Jaeger Program is joined by MONARCH, a secret science/military organization that finds and study them which help explain the reason of their appearance. Now, both humans and earth monsters join forces to destroy this alien threat for the benevolent future of Earth and all of humanity.

Forced to watch his family murdered again and again to give him the motivation while being forced to fight stronger beasts in order to get stronger. This cycle repeated until he was freed, welcomed to a new world, a new life. A life that didn't last. A beast named Shin enveloped the Hybrid, and corrupted his mind, controlling his body. With the help of two figures playing a massive role in his new life, he would gain himself back, though, during their battle, they are sent to another world, one in which they have gained humanoid bodies, and an army of new threats. (Did this spoil a little, yes. That's what summaries are for! I wanted to rewrite the story because I missed out on a lot of things I wanted to explain better, not have as many plot holes, and make it to where Neo used his Muto powers more. A complete rewrite of the original book "The Evolved Muto". A new plot, different, though probably not better, pacing, and hopefully longer. Rin Itoshi also returns due to his co-pilot recovering from an injury on a mission. Desperate for active pilots, Ego makes a bold decision to re-pair Rin and Isagi together. Back in their cadet days, Isagi and Rin were drift compatible, which made them the perfect match...however, memories collide with the present- unresolved feelings are brought to light. The last time they spoke to each other was a fight, causing a falling out in their relationship. Now back in the same Jaeger- under more pressure than ever to protect humanity, Rin and Isagi must find a way to work together and risk everything they love for the final time.
