A combination of Sword Art Online and Pokemon.
Kyle did not accept this reality, where Pokemon governed the lives of people.
Kyle is trapped in Pokemon Art Online, with ten thousand other players, he can't escape, and the only way out is use his Pokemon to get to the Elite Four. However, there is a catch; Kyle must keep his Pokemon alive or they die, forever, and if he loses just one battle, he dies in this reality and in real life, not to mention the ridiculously difficult Pokemon that roam the grass, they don't just limit it to Rattata and Pidgey, as legendaries may just walk in the grass freely!
Kyle acquires a Squirtle as his first Pokemon, and the two try to stay alive in this disastrous world.
