Until everything was wrong and aliens turned out to be real.
Stuck on a foreign planet with what's left of the human population, Sam can't help but feel like the whole human race is doomed. They'll never be their own again. They'll never be able to go back, but as a 28 year old man with a violent streak and a dependence on his independence, he's not sure he'll make it in this new world.
At least that was until he was scheduled to be put down for being violent and met an alien who took pity on the human.

(Animal Care and Rescue) find a new group of humans wandering the ruins of a large city, they think it will be an easy capture. But they soon learn that these particular humans have more willpower than most. They dodge every trap, disappear around every bend, and even manage to take some of the already captured humans with them. The aliens pity these "little creatures"-they just don't want to leave their home, but Earth is falling apart at the seams, and they are determined to take the stubborn little humans to the safety of one of the mother planets. No matter the cost.
