[ on going ] Daniella: I wanted to start this year off with a bang. Good grades, group of friends, Kaleb by my side, and my parents finally paying attention to me. That is until he came along: Cole Harris, Kaleb's step brother. He's that person that can make the whole room go silent. That person that makes you put your head down, and avoid eye contact. He's handsome, intimidating, reserved, and self absorbed. Yet, he's more concerned with making my life a living hell than himself.

Cole: I've never been one to want a relationship with my step brother. Until our parents passed away last year in June, and I suddenly didn't have a choice. I was his only option left for family, and even though we can't stand each other, I'm only staying here for one reason: her. Daniella, Dani, my brother's girlfriend. While it's her body she thinks I want, it's her mind that I have, and she's yet to figure that out. Yeah, I could tell her, but playing games and messing with her head is too much fun.

Kaleb: Daniella, but everyone calls her Dani. We've been together since we were fourteen. Every dinner table, movie night, summer, beaches, etc. She was always there. I wanted to be that guy for her in return. Be her protector, her lover, her home. With Cole around it's made things harder. I know she loves me, but it's hard to get to her. Their relationship has grown, and she's practically given him control over her subconscious. Even though she's blind to it, I won't let her escape from my reach. Cole may have her mind, but I know I have her heart.
