Inside the stone The Lady holds ever so gently is a powerful monster who was never meant to live for more than to die. And yet, even Nüwa, Lady of Life, can be surprised by its strange twists in fate.
Today was always going to happen, the hatching and sacrifice was always meant to happen. And yet, the Lovely Goddess almost feels as if she should have predicted one of her most impulsive and creative children would somehow do a job not meant for him, and yet find a fix she could not have imagined.
She laughs softly at the irony of her situation, wondering what fate has in store now. It always seems to contradict itself at every turn.

OR an alternate universe where the world ends during Monkey Kings journey to the west and he manages to save the world BEFORE Mk is hatched to complete his duty. And so, Lady Nüwa, knowing Mk is too powerful for the world to handle, decides to raise him in her temple.

Macaque's Successor
The reader is MK's non-identical twin sister. When Pigsy both sent the two out for noodle deliveries, MK went to deliver his stack of noodles, while you did your deliveries, and while you did your deliveries, you found a staff, for a second, you thought it was Monkey King's staff, but it was black highlighted with gold. Without thinking, you picked it up and felt a surge of power through you, and that's when you met Macaque. He looked almost like Monkey King, but with black fur. He saw the staff in your hands and explained to you that only he could pick it up, but when he saw you holding it, he decided to take you under his wing, and make you his successor. So from that point, you trained to be a warrior and fought demons along with your brother. Macaque sets out on a journey to find answers about his powers, and information on the Nine Headed Demon before MK and the others get hurt. Through his journey he encounters many leads, friends, and enemies. Macaque has to fight not only demons on his journey, but inner demons as well. Will Macaque become, Lost in Chaos? --- This story takes place directly after the events of season 5 in LMK. --- This story will have blood in it, as well as angst. It will dive into the pasts of Macaque and Wukong. As well as the pasts of the Nine Headed Demon.
