A small stone lies in her hand. It is the shape of one of her many children, a beautiful monkey about to be born. Small golden cracks crawl across its surface, golden light shining through evidently despite her very well-lit surroundings in her temple.

Inside the stone The Lady holds ever so gently is a powerful monster who was never meant to live for more than to die. And yet, even Nüwa, Lady of Life, can be surprised by its strange surprises.

OR an alternate universe where the world ends during Monkey Kings journey to the west and he manages to save the world BEFORE Mk is hatched to complete his duty. And so, Lady Nüwa, knowing Mk is too powerful for the world to handle, decides to raise him in her temple.
