Esther Perel recently went on tour. Did you know? And it was as good as the best concerts I've been to. She was amazing, and every word she spoke counted. One of the things she talked about that struck me the most was something she called "ambiguous loss." I had never heard this term before, but when she described it, I knew it instantly, because I have experienced it, as a lot of us have. In its simplest terms, ambigous loss refers to profound loss that is not associated with death, but Esther gave meaningful examples that were a little more complex than simply lacking that one part. Esther described it as the feeling we get when we are sitting next to our partner in bed and they are on their phone and we feel deep loneliness, like they are not there at all.https://www.napamarriagetherapy.com/post/ambiguous-loss

Every Last Minute (GXG)

26 parts Complete Mature

Completed: 10/23/21 Over the course of a relationship, couples go through many different stages; from lust to trust. "I, Margaret Isobel 𝒩𝒾𝒸𝒽𝚘𝓁𝓈𝚘𝓃 take you... ...Annika Rose 𝒱𝒶𝓁𝑒𝓃𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑒 to be my wife, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish, till death us do part." Marriage involves a test of dealing with change. There are some changes that commonly occur, however, there are some not so common changes that can make or break a relationship. "I love you but I can't be with you right now." "That - that's only fair. But please promise me, you'll come back home tonight?" "I honestly, I'd rather not. But I will be back tomorrow so we can talk properly, without me wanting to hurt you back."
