For centuries, Nyxandra, the Goddess of Symbiotes, has remained secluded on her sentient planet, Klyntar, an enigmatic realm of pulsating biomes and living landscapes. She has spent ages nurturing her symbiotic children, instilling in them the principles of balance and responsibility. Known across the cosmos as the Slayer of Gods, Nyxandra's name strikes fear into even the most powerful beings. Her power is unmatched, her wrath a whispered legend, and her sense of justice as unyielding as the stars themselves.
Among her countless children, one holds a special place in her heart: Venom. The little mischief-maker always found a way to make her laugh with his chaotic energy and unfiltered humor. Though she rarely shows favoritism, Nyxandra secretly cherishes the fond memories of her "little maniac" before he left Klyntar in search of a host. She doesn't blame him for his wandering spirit-Venom, like all symbiotes, seeks connection in his own way.
Meanwhile, the Justice League learns of Darkseid's imminent plans to conquer Earth. His forces grow stronger, and even the combined might of the League may not be enough to stop him. In a desperate council, Diana reveals a long-guarded secret.
"There is one being even Darkseid hesitates to confront," she declares. "The one who brought gods to their knees and reshaped the heavens in her image. The Goddess of Symbiotes."
Though reluctant to involve a figure of such overwhelming power, the League journeys to Klyntar to seek Nyxandra's aid. But alliances are never so simple. As they come face to face with the Goddess herself, they find a ruler who is both serene and fearsome, a protector of life who is unafraid to destroy for the sake of universal balance.
Darkseid may fear her. But the League soon learns that earning her trust might be even more challenging than confronting the tyrant of Apokolips himself.
