Specter: This is a story I've been working on for awhile. I've seen many people talk about how bad their writing is. This just makes me cringe because they say this when they're just on their first draft. I decided to post the first draft of my story called Specter. This is purely just to give writers and idea what a first draft looks like. A confidence booster. Something to compare your writing to. The best writer never wrote a master piece on the first go. When you read this you'll say, this is good but needs to be worked on more. i wrote this for a class project- tell me if there is needed corrections :) The main character is a girl named Elizabeth, who has been on the streets for countless years because her parents abandoned her. she is on the run from the cops, for reasons you must read to understand:) and after being alone for all those years she finally finds love and has a child. but things go wrong and people are hurt...Have fun!! and ENJOY:)

A short story about an agoraphobic woman living alone on a small farm property. It follows her descent into hopelessness at her situation, as well as the increasing tension with her twin, who has been taking care of her. This is very amateur, and I don't usually do creative writing, so I apologize for any messiness or beginner mistakes.
