In this alternate version of Rwby, there exists a race of people who are different from both Faunus and Humans. These people were called Grimoire, a unique race of people that are able to possesses the ability to record and inherit knowledge genetically. Due to possessing the ability to transfer knowledge and power through blood, a trait that defined the family for generations, they were purged until only one survived.
