Florise Desmond is the daughter of the CEO of a publishing company, she is a journalist, a doctor. Her father was Conrad Desmond.

Because of the circumstances, Laurence and Florise met each other because of the interguing situation where her father accommodated the CEO of State Of Von Stein Company. Laurence agrees with her father's desires but in one condition- an arranged marriage with Florise.
