Money isn't everything - isn't that what all rich people say? When Hino's late father leaves him and his mother defenceless, Hino decides to take it upon himself to find entertainment while his mother is out on work. One day, he finds a huge piano sitting in the middle of the living room. Maybe it's worth a shot...?

Meanwhile, Leo struggles with his father, who, after losing his fingers, lives vicariously through his perpetually uninterested son. Day after day, the same classical music bounding on the walls of their apartment.

However, it all changed when Hino decided to mess around in the music room of his new school. Leo heard it from outside, and was pulled into the room without even realising. He stood there and stared as Hino's fingers danced across the keys like ballerinas, playing a tune he'd never heard before. Was it Chopin? No, he'd know if it was Chopin. No. This was original... Something that boy was making up as he went.

What awaits as these two boys become friends? Will the piano bench become too small for two masters? Will their story end in heartbreak or warm reconciliation?
