Pirate King // Minsung

In the rigid social hierarchy of 17th century Japan, young Prince Lee Minho feels suffocated by the strict expectations of the imperial court. He escapes and disguises himself as a crew mate of a merchant ship and flees into the tumultuous world beyond the palace walls.

His journey takes an unexpected turn when he is captured by the infamous pirate Captain Han Jisung, known throughout the Yellow Seas of the Pacific as the most ruthless and feared maritime predator. Initially treated as a mere deck hand and subjected to brutal conditions, Minho's bravery and hidden nobility begin to intrigue the hardened captain.

As they sail, an unexpected intimacy develops between them. Han, a man shaped by his dark past, finds himself drawn to Minho's spirit, while Minho discovers the complex humanity beneath the captain's violent exterior.
