I live in two worlds. I claim two lifestyles. I am both a mortal and an immortal. It may seem like a blessing and that I should be grateful, but it is nothing more than an inconvenience. Especially considering I am mistakenly assumed an Illegal Hybrid all the time. What makes it even worse is that my job requires me to hunt down actual Illegal Hybrids who are out and about in the world of the Blands (humans). These Illegal Hybrids are people born to a human and a Mystic. I somewhat am an Illegal Hybrid, except at the same time I’m not. And all too often I am yelled at for being a walking contradiction. Yet, I may be the only one able to get the job done. Or even attempt to do so. I am the Head Detective of CMC; the Central Mystic Community. The CMC is basically the capital of all the Mystic Communities. The Mystic Communities are colonies full of Mystics that have migrated to this dimension, which is more widely known as the 7th Dimension. Since you’re likely unaware of what a Mystic is, allow me to explain...

Have you ever had anything strange happen to you that you couldn't explain? One moment you're normal, the next... Well, it happened to me. On my sixteenth birthday, my life changed forever. I learned that day I was different. I have a gift... And I've been hunted by men intending to capture or kill me just because of what I can do. I'm Telekinetic, a mover they call me. I can move objects with just my thoughts. I can do things that most other people only dream about. Except sometimes a dream can start out exciting, and quickly become a nightmare. My name is Kyle... and this is my story. "The Hunted One " is part one of the series. Part two is called "Caitlin's Way". And part three, " Destiny " is also completed. I've also finished writing "The Presence." It's a ghost story with my kind of twist and takes place at the same time as my first two stories and If you're a Hunted One reader, you may find the ending interesting... I also have a story called "Return of the Black Eyed Children " It's based on the legend. (Look it up on Google) My latest is called "Vengeful Spirits." Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.Complete

Human rights are reserved for humans, right? Maybe wearing one's skin isn't enough to merge into the mortal world. Many of us, variants if you prefer to regard us nicely, otherwise monsters, are born with otherworldly specialties. And those born without it considered us curses to the land while we saw it as superpowers. They call us monsters yet they're the ones hunting us. Till it was me they're hunting down, they locked me in a facility with horrific scientists. The other variants are my allies, the facility, our enemy. The leader of the facility is just another one of us, but he's standing on the opposite side, battling against us. Everyone can lie, but no one can deceive a psychic. Standing before him, you can't hide anything. Your thoughts, your schemes, the psychic hears it all. I, like every other variant locked in this place, dreamed of escaping. Continuous outrageous breakouts just to get recaptured? I need a disparate way, a more intriguing method to sneak myself out of here. Kaysen Hayes, leader of the facility, his job is to keep us all contained. Anyone who dares to escape will come to face him, and he never fails to trick us, put us into defeat. A few variants earned their alliance with the facility, like tamed animals, they'll come to help whenever there's a breakout. When I saw one of those variants, traitorous ideas sprung to my mind. But I need not wait long till the offer comes to me in person. How long until he runs out of tricks? How long does loyalty last? Tricks don't last forever, and so does loyalty.
