I live in two worlds. I claim two lifestyles. I am both a mortal and an immortal. It may seem like a blessing and that I should be grateful, but it is nothing more than an inconvenience. Especially considering I am mistakenly assumed an Illegal Hybrid all the time. What makes it even worse is that my job requires me to hunt down actual Illegal Hybrids who are out and about in the world of the Blands (humans). These Illegal Hybrids are people born to a human and a Mystic. I somewhat am an Illegal Hybrid, except at the same time I’m not. And all too often I am yelled at for being a walking contradiction. Yet, I may be the only one able to get the job done. Or even attempt to do so. I am the Head Detective of CMC; the Central Mystic Community. The CMC is basically the capital of all the Mystic Communities. The Mystic Communities are colonies full of Mystics that have migrated to this dimension, which is more widely known as the 7th Dimension.
