On the 21st of December 2012, magick returned to the world as a block placed by the ancient Mayan's dissolved. Many people woke up and found they were able to cast spells. These Spellweavers were originally hated and distrusted by their non-magical counterparts, causing many to flee towards a budding haven for spellweavers - De Aurorae Impetus. These spellweavers were known as Aurorians and eventually the organisation evolved into a nation through a bloody war with Britain. Now an uneasy truce exists between the nations: De Aurorae Impetus agreed to fight against rebel spellweavers in Britain if they were left to their own devices in Auroria.
