Prompt ig: so Jiang Cheng was sitting in his inner rope coz of the heat and Lan Xichen walks in on him noticing some scars that Jiang Cheng brushes off but soon explains that that is how "the Jiang's" train. Then it just spirals into more and more

so I wrote this originally as a part of my one-shot book but I liked the story so much that I kept on writing and it got too long so now ya have an extra book yaaay 🐾

Lan Xichen is worried about blossoming relationship between Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian. He is convinced that their reunion cannot happed due to the restraints of inter-sect politics and that he, as the future sect leader, cannot let both of them suffer knowing that they would not be able to be together. The thing is, Lan Xichen has also come to understand why his brother had been so smitten with the boy.
