I Could Never Be Your Woman

A short fanfiction set in the world of Devilman at the beginning of volume 5 of the original manga from 1972. The world is on the edge with the threat of mass war between humans and demons. Akira Fudo is gathering fellow Devilmen in the upcoming war against demons. Meanwhile his best friend Ryo Asuka is supposedly missing after their last quarrel at Ryo's apartment. Little does Akira knows, that Ryo in fact is the leader of demons and the Satan themself. And deeply, madly in love with Akira.

One day, Akira is at home alone with his childhood friend and sweetheart Miki. Or does he thinks so. He does not know that in reality it was Ryo who magically took an appearance of Miki to see him in secret. One carelessly said word will led them to the evening both of them will never forget, although for the different reasons.
