Kim and Basit [A short novel]

"Is there a reason you were so intent on..." I paused, trying to pick my words carefully, "sleeping with Ahmed tonight?."

She turned her gaze to me sharply, the fork of food frozen on the way to her mouth. Her nose sudden flared in disgust while her brows squeezed to a frown, "Good night."

I watched her put the fork of food back on her plate and saucily lift herself from the chair, my baggy joggers tied with an extra rope around her waist was the funniest thing ever, but I held my laughter.

"Kim!" I called, "Come finish your food, I won't ask questions about you and your crazy idea of doing shit on your graduation party night."

"Good night Basit" she said with scorn before walking out of the kitchen with pride hanging around her neck.

Her petite body appeared even smaller under my baggy joggers and T-shirt.

Well if you're wondering why I have a girl, three years younger than I was in my house, who also happens to be my junior in highschool, and how I saved the stubborn Kim from giving out her v card to my best friend's brother then read on.
