Author: Hi everyone!! I spent some time after releasing The Nothing and The Fox( which by the way you should read if you love horror and weird shit like that) to get stuff done. During that time, I slowly wrote this fic and played BOTW at the same time. I love The Legend of Zelda with all my heart and BOTW was my first game. Writing this brought me back to when I first played it at the beginning of quarantine when life was so uncertain. Anyway, hope you all enjoy!!!

"Link..." He shifted slightly, feeling that voice in his mind. "Link." The voice stressed, a tone of exhaustion under it. He woke, immediately pulling himself upward while his hands moved to his back, a reflex. There was nothing there, though. "Link. You must free me." The voice said again. Link turned his head, trying to find the source of the voice. "You will grow strong, and have the power needed for your task." The voice continued. "Please... help me." The ground shook. --- I don't own the Legend of Zelda.
BOTW: The Lonely Knight
It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! Zelda doesn't believe in soulmates; Zelda barely even believes in herself. That is, until Link turns up with a sword strapped to his back, heralding the end of times.
