The North Star's Promise

Kai, Cole, Jay, Nya, Lloyd, and Zane are all very different. But they have a few things in common:
1. They all are slaves
2. They all have the ruler of the land, Colt Wilderton as their master
3. They all wish for freedom.
Their lives are full of whipping, endless work, cramps , and a whole lot of bad things. After a day in which they find a horrifying truth, they decide to escape. Navigating into unknown territory is tough enough, but the fact that they would have to find food and shelter while eluding slave catchers made the journey to freedom perilous. These friends soon become close family, and by mastering curiosity, balance, wisdom, honesty, generosity, and courage, they find their way through the curveballs thrown at them.

They thought about giving up multiple times, but, hey, the North Star has a promise to fulfill.
