Diego de la Vega has been Zorro for a year, which has proven to be a fantastic experience for him, but when a new comandante moves to Los Ángeles and proves to be even more heinous than the others, Diego ups his game to show the people of California that no matter how evil a man may be, Zorro will always be there to protect them. His plan backfires when a bystander jumps into the fray during a confrontation with the comandante, leaving Zorro to kill his very first man.
