❛There's Kyah. You couldn't keep her away from the water and she always had her head in the clouds. She was the sweetest person on the island and a total nerd, which is probably why she got along with Pope so well, but I'd never met a surfer as good as JJ until Kyah. Like Kie, she's a rich kid, but when I say rich kid I mean holy super kook. Her dad's this glorified realtor whilst her mom is this fancy French woman with her own law firm. To Kildare, her family is like royalty. But I guess Kyah doesn't care about that stuff, and she just fit right in with us. I'm not really sure if her family or her kook friends approve of us, but it doesn't matter, Kyah was a pogue through and through. I should probably mention that unlike the rest of the island, Kyah didn't care for the whole pogues vs kooks thing, which is ironic considering they're usually fighting over her. ❜

takes place after the events of season 1 (edit: I wrote this way before season 2 or 3 came out so yuh) It's been a month since John B and Sarah have been pronounced dead. No bodies were found which gives them the smallest sliver of hope. But hope of what? That their friends somehow survived that deadly storm? That their bodies are still floating around somewhere in the Pacific? There is no hope anymore. John B, their best friend, is dead. There's nothing more to it. He's dead and so is Sarah. Coming to terms with this has been one of the hardest and single most heartbreaking thing any of the pogues have had to deal with.
