A crime story, a dark comedy, and a lesbian romance, told by an amnesic narrator with a superiority complex.
"Well, if I had to describe this novel, I would have to say that it's delightfully captivating, because it's about me, and even though I'm not here for your entertainment, I'm a hoot. True, I may not know who I am-no, I'm not having an existential crisis, I have lost my memory-but if the corpse lying in my bed could talk, she would tell you how titillating my (mis)adventures are. Also, My Brain says to mention that it's a detective novel, a love story, and a dark comedy all at once. Oh, and that it has lesbians, which My Brain finds particularly exciting. So, there you have it. Read it. Or don't. I'm fine either way.
Yours truly,
Dr R. I."
