Setting:

The story is set in Suribia, a war-torn country inspired by real-world conflicts like those in Syria and Ukraine. The country has been plunged into violence for over a decade, and the social fabric is unraveling. Neighboring nations, such as Valdoria to the north, Duranta to the south, Ambaria to the east, Volkathia to the west, and Gravonia to the northeast, have all been impacted by the conflict, either through direct involvement, refugee influx, or trade disruptions. The story focuses on the everyday women caught in this chaos, fighting for survival, truth, and the chance to rebuild.

Protagonist:

Lina Sadiq is a 35-year-old journalist and single mother. Once a successful reporter in Suribia's capital, she became the voice of truth after the war claimed her husband and disrupted the peaceful life she once knew. Now, she is dedicated to documenting the atrocities of the war and revealing the harsh realities that her people face, despite the risks. Her investigative work and unyielding drive to protect her daughter, Yara, make her both a symbol of resistance and a target for the very forces she is trying to expose.
