Max and Megan have barely exchanged more than a few words, even though they've been neighbours for a year. At school, they're practically strangers. In his eyes, Megan is just pretending to be some kind of rebellious misfit, while to her, Max is nothing more than another shallow athlete obsessed with his own reputation.

But when a disastrous Christmas party leaves Max unconscious in Megan's lawn, the two are set to spend the strangest Christmas Eve together - and might just discover they have more in common than they ever imagined.
