PART ONE OF When The Sky Is Clear
The police station is usually calm at night, at least until Tommy arrives with his sharp words and cunning retorts. After getting roped in his shenanigans, Ranboo pays the price of being Tommy's friend in the damp cell they get shoved in. A cop notices them and maybe realises a few things about his colleagues. Tommy's older brother is here to collect the teens from the station and uses the opportunity to annoy the teen.
Or,
Phil is bored, Tommy likes illegal art, Ranboo gets dragged along, and Techno is trying.

A young blonde boy wakes up in the middle of the forest. He can't remember how he got there or much about himself either. His name is blank from his mind, and he can't even remember his family. His clothes are torn and dirty, and he wonders what happened. He's not hungry, but he wants a small snack, yet every apple tree and every berry bush he passes doesn't strike his fancy. He eventually makes it to a city. Large buildings are fallen over and the ones still standing have busted out windows and/or have smoke and fire coming from them. He can hear distant screams and yells and gunshots. There are people passing him that are strange. They're badly injured and walk slightly hunched over. Some are missing limbs, and some are missing and eye, or both. They don't even appear to be alive to the boy. They look his way but don't mind him. Tommy is confused and scared. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other. Grian always bursts into their little, cozy attic right before things can go terribly wrong. Like that one time Ranboo had wanted to cook dinner. Tommy is pretty sure Grian had been asleep at the time of the occasion, judging by how messed up his blond hair was, yet he ran up two floors -four sets of stairs, fifteen steps each- and then burst through the door with a shout of "NO, DON'T DO IT!!!". It had been an eventful night that one, ending with a scolding and a very much grounded Ranboo. Which is weird, because Grian isn't Ranboo's parent, he is just their neighbor. And, at this point, it's just the norm for Grian to know what they are up to. The trio's theory is that the avian has a sixth sense or something. "Oh, hey Tommy and Tubbo!" Phil watched his assistant turn and walk around the corner, in the corner of Phil's eye he swore he saw a bruise hidden mostly by the gloves Tommy started wearing after accidentally walking into eret who ended up spilling coffee on Tommy who had seemed more concerned about the shirt then the burns he was getting. Phil didn't have a clue on what could be going on, all he knew was his assistant was getting hurt and he had no idea how to fix it. Phil just hoped Tommy will tell him what was wrong soon, he hated seeing his flock members hurt, especially the fledgling. OR Tommy is getting Tommy abused by a green blob and his employers are concerned, not to mention his employers are the three top hero's in the city who have taken one look at this traumatic train-wreck of a child and went 'we want that *yoink* pleasure doing business with ya' and walks off. The caretakers there try their best to be kind but usually keep their distance. Mostly because of his horrifying appearance. But after a bit of a mix up Ranboo ends up meeting someone that will change his world forever. Now he lives in a town full of humans and hybrids alike, along with his new family of misfits and adventurers.
