Brenner, a young man still living with his mother, Damour, was on his way to work at Milone'sLightry (or ML), a small candle shop. As he hurried down the sidewalk, he collided with a stranger, a warm-mannered man who could send butterflies into any strangers chest. The man, whose name Brenner didn't catch, lingered a moment too long, his gaze lingering on Brenner's face. This odd encounter left Brenner distracted, and as he arrived at work, he noticed he might not be able to just brush off the encounter.
