Season 9 of hermitcraft has arrived, and all the hermits are jumping and ready to go, but things seem off this time round. Grians suddenly snapping at everyone, weird things are happening on the server, a new patron was introduced, and a mystery rift has embedded itself near grains base and scar following clue to uncover secrets that where definitely better left untouched.
grians sudden distant behaviour, and a curious scar.... seems like a perfect recepie for trouble and chaos.

GUYS STOP READING THIS 😭😭😭 The setting is set in season 7. A prank goes wrong, and many people get injured, but Grian gets the most out of it. ~The hermits had huddled around a large hole in the ground. At the bottom of the hole sat two people. One had bright orange hair with a face full of freckles and what seemed to be antlers sticking out of her hair. The other was facing away from Grian and was wearing a plain grey jacket with the hood pulled up over their head. They turned and met the builders gaze and time seemed to slow to a stop. Grian couldn't believe what he was seeing. He was standing face to face with a dead person~ Grian left Evo and joined the watchers, whom he then betrayed and in turn, they destroyed Evo and everyone in it. But that's not where the story ends, because when season 8 of hermitcraft rolls around, Grian is shocked to see a familiar face. But what he doesn't know is that this familiar face is there for a reason. Because the watchers wanted Grian back. To describe Scar & Grian's relationship, it is one of complete and utter loathing. The two have a deep-rooted dislike for one another, always wanting to bully each other every time they come near. However, whenever they do pass or see each other, they would get this strange feeling of warmth and joy that fills their guts. But they don't know what this sensation is, they just know that it makes them want to bully and torment the other even worse. It's such a unique feeling, no one can explain it, not even themselves. They just know that the feeling is there and they hate it. They hate it so much that they wont admit it or even talk about it, it's something unspoken but still a powerful and driving force between the two. Grian hated it, hating that feeling of warmth and attraction that Scar was causing. This completely flipped their relationship, as Grian started to want more of Scar's attention. However, he felt so conflicted about this feeling as well, wanting to fight and torment Scar but unable to resist the charms as well.
