In a possible future, humanity has expanded its reach to all the planets of our Solar System with dozens of massive space colonies. When a collection of them declare a war for independence and commit terrorist atrocities doing so, seven youths are forced to pilot an experimental force of mobile suits called the Gundams to make their way to Earth and free their potential allies from an occupying force. In doing so, they attract the attention of their enemies' ace pilot.
