Godfall

'Nayeli is a talented but insecure doctor facing the aftermath of a storm. But her greatest terror is sleep; for her nightmares and dreams have turned strange and dangerous of late. But beyond anything she could imagine, Nayeli's dreams have opened a connection to jealous ancient gods, heartbroken killers, and unimaginable power. Unpredictable and unstable, Nayeli must be dealt with by the returning legends of Zeus, Apollo, and Aphrodite, before she reaches her potential. Dramatic, epic, and full of action, Godfall is tale of courage and love across dreams, space, and time.' A young woman must face her deepest nightmares, and dangerous gods, when she finds she can enter dreams. Long banished, the ancient powers of Zeus, Ares, and Aphrodite are reignited in their hunt for the the young doctor Nayeli, a mortal woman with the power of gods. Faced with nightmares made real, and heroes from ancient times, she must find a way to accept her newfound abilities before the gods final plan for humanity destroys them all. BREAKDOWN: Godfall has considerable action, but, I should note, has deep themes and issues that create a slow-build revolving around the main characters fears and dreams, as well as the feuding of the traitorous gods. These are the first three chapters of the book. I would love for beta readers to read the entire novel if anyone is interested.
