This is an original story of two girls from opposite lives falling in love in the 90's.
Heidi St.James is the band geek who is always shying away. Her mother is an English teacher, and Heidi's father is not in the picture, leaving them when she was three. She is in the closet, keeping it from everybody but her gay boyfriend, Damon Ledger. She gets bullied by a cheerleader, Veronica Monroe, who seems to know her secret.
Veronica Monroe is the captain of the cheerleaders, the popular girl dating the popular guy. A guy who has been held back and is about to turn twenty if he doesn't graduate, who is also the quarterback. Though she barely knows anything about Heidi she can't seem to leave her alone, until things go too far. Then to make it up to her, they get closer to each other.
A story of Enemies To Lovers, two opposites attracting when the world isn't ready for them.
